I deal with the issue of impaired communication skills for both children and adults. I specialize in education, special education relating to speech therapy diagnostics and intervention, especially for clients with developmental dysphasia, articulatory and phonological disorders, stuttering and specific developmental learning disabilities. I focus on supporting the positive development of comprehension and production of speech and language, the development of language and cognitive skills, which are a prerequisite for acquiring school skills in early literacy; diagnostics and intervention of graphomotor skills; phonological, orthographic, morphological-syntactic competencies, lexical fluency; laterality; directionality, initial reading and writing; development of mathematical skills; functional communication; working with a family that has somoenone with communication difficulties, and all in a holistic approach focusing on the potential and strengths of the participants. At the Support Center for Students with Special Needs at Palacký University in Olomouc, I provide support, special education speech therapy diagnostics and intervention to students with a stutter, and students with specific learning disabilities, including the processing of examination reports.

I focus on the area of ​​alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) of children and adults with significantly impaired communication skills. Here I deal with the issue of identifying current communication skills in individuals with severe expression or reception disorder due to disability or illness, in order to design and apply such AAC strategies that will enable them to fulfill their own communication potential as much as possible. In this area, I also search for educational activities at the level of education, counseling facilities and social services. Another area of ​​my professional interest includes comprehensive counseling aimed at supporting pupils with special educational needs during school leaving term and planning the transition to the next stage of their lives.

From 2004 to 2008 I worked at the VSB - Technical University of Ostrava as the head of the Institute of Experimental Methods, where I provided orders and material analysis, coordinated projects and EU grant programmes. I was on a post-doc study stay at the Slovak Academy of Sciences at the Institute of Physics in Bratislava. At the same time, I have extensive experience from my own start-up and its successful exit (by selling a subsidiary of Český telecom). In the years 2005-2012, I was a co-owner and sales director and CEO at Evkanet, s.r.o., which was one of the local leaders in Internet connection and the introduction of new trends in the area of IT. I received my doctorate from the Ecole Centrale in Paris.
